MEDOC HALF DAY SHARED WINE TOUR FROM BORDEAUX

The Medoc area covers approximately 5,700 hectares of declared vineyards, annually producing on average 300,000 hectoliters of wine. Of the grape varieties permitted, 50% of the viticultural area is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and to a lesser extent Petit Verdot and Malbec. Also allowed within the AOC regulations are the varieties Cabernet Franc and Carménère.
Today depart for a half day tour in the Margaux & Haut Medoc appellations, world famous for its lead 1er Grand Cru Classé: Chateau Margaux. During this half day tour you will discover 2 renowned Classified Growth Chateaus (Cru Classé & Cru Bourgeois) that create wines in which the Cabernet Sauvignon is the predominant grape variety used in the blend. You will then have the opportunity to taste these fabulous wines that are known for their perfumed fragrances - all visits in the wineries and the wine tasting fees are included.
