Epernay Champagne House

Champagne House Visit: we will guide you to one of the most renowned Champagne Wineries. Our usual program includes a visit to the world-famous Moët & Chandon winery, where you will have the opportunity to sample various champagnes under the guidance of a wine expert. Meander through historic cellars that have housed champagne for centuries. Moët & Chandon's illustrious reputation dates back to Napoléon I and the Marquise de Pompadour, the official chief mistress of King Louis XV. Today, this brand is globally distributed and prominently enjoyed at prestigious events like the Cannes Film Festival.

Visit Hautvillers village

Hautvillers Village: Pause in the charming village of Hautvillers to visit the tomb of Dom Pérignon, located in the beautiful Hautvillers Abbey. Dom Pérignon played a pivotal role in elevating the production and quality of champagne in the region. He championed white and sparkling wines at a time when red wine prevailed. Legend has it that his discerning palate could identify the vineyard of a single grape simply by tasting it. Today, the prestigious champagne brand Dom Pérignon bears his name.

Afterward, continue to Reims for a very nice lunch (not included), in one of the typical local restaurants.

Visit Reims Cathedral

Guided Tour of Reims Cathedral: begin your exploration at the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Marvel at the exquisite stained glass windows and intricate statues adorning the interior. Throughout the Middle Ages, this cathedral served as the coronation site for French kings, with all but two kings of France being crowned here. Accompanied by our accredited guide, experience a comprehensive visit to one of France's most magnificent cathedrals.

Local Champagne Producer

Local Champagne Producer: your Champagne adventure takes you to a smaller, family-run estate, offering a glimpse into the world of champagne production on a more intimate scale than that of Möet & Chandon and other prominent houses. Learn about the traditional methods of crafting champagne and savor vintages you may not have experienced before. An authentic, small-batch champagne straight from the Champagne region makes a memorable souvenir or a cherished gift for loved ones.

Conclude your visit with a return to Paris, marking the end of our services.

Note: In the event that the originally planned Champagne House visit is unavailable, we will arrange a similar experience at another Champagne House.
