Pick up and drop off at your ship in Sète Cruise Port

First, we will come and pick you up at your Ship located in Sete France. Meet your English-speaking driver who will go over the itinerary and program of the day with you for this private tour. Then begin to make your way towards the historical city center of Sète.

Walking tour of Sète

Begin your tour with a visit of the charming small town of Sète. Coined the southern Venice of France, join your English-speaking host for an intimate and highly recommended activity that will take you on through the streets of Sète. Walk along the canals to reach the lively food market and try some of its delicious specialties (food sampling not included): la tielle (a seafood pie with octopus cooked in a spicy tomato sauce), cheeses, olives, cold cuts, zezette de Sète biscuits. Your guide will certainly point out the main landmarks of the town including the Mont Saint Clair and panoramic views on the Thau lagoon.

Visit an Oyster and Shellfish Farm

After your walking tour and a panoramic view over the Thau bay, visit an oyster and shellfish farm. Learn about this little known production and, comfortably seated with the wonderful view on the lagoon and Mont saint Clair, enjoy a tasting of 6 oysters with a glass of the typical crisp white wine of the region, the Picpoul de Pinet.

Free time for lunch

After the oyster farm visit, you will have some time for lunch (at own expense). You can choose to continue your lunch at the farm that serves a number of meals or it is also possible to have lunch in a local restaurant that we can pre-book for you.

Languedoc Wine Tasting Tour

After lunch, we will take you to a family owned winery of the area. Learn all about the production of the largest wine region in France and enjoy a tasting of our range of wines comfortably seated under the wooden pergola facing the vineyards.
