Meet your Expert Guide

Meet your English speaking guide who is an expert on Burgundy Wines and who will go over the program and itinerary of your shared Burgundy wine tour with you. Then, board your Premium, air-conditioned vehicle and begin your half day tour to discover the vineyards and wine producing region of Burgundy. 

First stop in a traditional Cellar

Your first tasting will take place in a historical cellar that has kept its ancient vaulting. Here we will introduce you to the wines of Burgundy during a commented tasting session guided by a knowledgeable guide. The wine tasting session includes red and white wines including Premiers Crus.

Second tasting in a family owned property

After your first tasting, it will be time to move on to our second visit and tasting of Burgundy wines. Arrive at a family owned property that has been established for a number of generations. This is where we will have you taste the Great Pinots Noirs of the wine producing region. Spiritual region for the Pinot Noir, young Burgundy wines are usually of a silky texture with typical raspberry and cherry aromas, refreshing acidity and soft tannins. With time and ageing, the wines become more complex and develop interesting aromas such as jam fruits to gamey, tobacco or truffle and even forest floor or undergrowth.

After a commented tasting at the winery, we will move on and begin to make our way back to Dijon. En route, we will make a short stop in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin. Drop off in Dijon at meeting point and end of our services
